Society is a good thing because it keeps just in order and it causes for a sane society with rules. If we didn’t have a society everyone would be doing crazy things. In a society people have the same beliefs as you and it’s good to have someone who has your back.
Is the mainstream media really reporting and telling people the truth, or are they sugar coating these situations around the world to not seem as bad?
Overseas in Crimea, Ukraine violence has spread all over towns and cities, the people in Crimea are angry by the way Ukraine President Yanukovych voted, the result of that is a riot/war, people are throwing rocks, launching bombs and burning things to the ground in spite of anger.
This is the biggest political crisis in Ukraine since the 2004 Orange Revolution; crowds are urging to embrace the west and president Yanukovych refused to sign a major trade and corporation deal with the EU causing for his government to resign and accusing him of corruption. Protesters have also been camping out in the freezing cold to make a statement.
Another example of this issue going on but in the U.S is in Ferguson, Missouri. An unarmed black 18-year-old named Michael Brown was shot and killed by a police officer. Some of the headlines were “Michael Brown shooting U.S attorney general due in Ferguson.” Another was, “Missouri police arrest Michael Brown demonstrators in Ferguson.”
These headlines are untrue, making Michael Brown not seem like the victim. He was actually shot and killed, then left laying dead on the streets for hours while people watched.
The big lies substitute for the truth. They proliferate daily. The people want the truth, so why not give them what they want? This is also hurting the people by stating false information. The people need to know the truth.
